Job Overview:
This facility is consists of 8 operating rooms and 1 procedural suite. This is 1st in the country to use 4K video monitoring technology in their operating rooms. This job is for Full Time: 80 hours per pay period. No weekends, holidays or on call.
Responsibilities:
- Assists surgical team during operative procedures.
- Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operations, and hands items as needed to the operative team.
- Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the operating rooms.
- Responsible for the provision of surgical care to meet identified patient outcomes, and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse.
Required Qualifications:
- Post High School Diploma Program.
- Graduate of a Surgical Tech program.
- At least one year of Surgical Technologist experience in acute care setting.
- BLS-Basic Life Support.
- At least 1 full year of Surgical Technology experience in a main OR or SurgiCenter environment.
- Would have experience in ENT, Ortho, General, GYN, Plastics etc.
