JOB SUMMARY

Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM

Responsible for purchasing and processing targeted spot buys. Communicating the status and timelines of the purchases. identifying, sourcing, and managing surplus inventory and assets, ensuring cost-effective acquisition and disposition while maximizing value.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and source surplus materials, equipment from suppliers and secondary markets.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure optimal value.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely advertising of purchased products.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals in surplus management.
  • Generate purchase orders for all products by assigning vendors and pricing.
  • Confirm purchase orders with price, part number and lead-time establishing consistent order follow up by contacting vendors to assure orders are being processed in a timely manner.
  • Handle all discrepancies such as price, part numbers, condition to resolve purchase orders.
  • Assist in customer expedites when needed, vendor expedites and inquiries about purchases to Radwell by phone, email or through other means in a timely, efficient, and professional manner. Work with the expediting group to help resolve purchasing delivery to exceed customer expectations where needed.
  • Complete specifically assigned daily tasks, pertaining to payments.
  • Be able and ready to work from the time punched in until the time punched out.

This may be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Internet, Phones, Fax
  • Strong Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Strong problem resolution and analysis skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • One to Three years related experience and/or training preferred
  • Prior alternative marketing experience is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is an office job and entails physical associated with operating a telephone and computer (viewing monitor, keyboard, mouse)

WORK SCHEDULE

Work schedule is 8am-5pm. Employee is expected to come to work on time and adhere to accepted time-off policies.

SALARY RANGE INFORMATION:

  • The range displayed on each job posting reflects the targeted base salary for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job related-skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

SALARY RANGE: $22-28/hr

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is an office position with a great deal of sitting at a computer required. Interaction with vendors via phone and email will occur. Radwear and Radwell access card must be worn at all times. Radwell Safety Policies must be adhered to at all times
