Video Evidence & Risk Management Coordinator

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Video Evidence & Risk Management Coordinator to support the review, retrieval, and management of video footage across transit operations. This role plays a critical part in investigating customer complaints, accidents, and operational incidents by ensuring accurate documentation, storage, and reporting of digital evidence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and able to work independently while coordinating across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze video footage from transit terminals, facilities, and buses in response to customer complaints, accidents, and administrative requests
Retrieve, download, and securely store video evidence in accordance with agency procedures and policies
Maintain accountability for all video records, ensuring accuracy, proper storage, and timely retrieval
Investigate accident claims by identifying relevant personnel, vehicles, and scheduling video downloads
Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and IT teams to support investigations and evidence collection
Process and fulfill requests for digital video evidence, distributing materials to authorized parties only
Maintain comprehensive logs of all video downloads, requests, and distributions
Manage server storage by clearing outdated files and ensuring adequate capacity
Dispose of records in compliance with organizational retention policies
Maintain claim data files (including Access databases), workers' compensation files, OSHA logs, and first aid records
Provide administrative support including answering calls, scheduling appointments, managing confidential files, and coordinating department projects
Assist with mail processing and reception coverage as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, OR a combination of education and relevant experience
Minimum of 3 years of senior-level clerical experience
At least 2 years of experience in claims, safety, OSHA reporting, or risk management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel required; Access preferred) with strong spreadsheet skills
Familiarity with office equipment and administrative processes
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions
Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams and external stakeholders
Basic mathematical skills including calculations, ratios, and data interpretation
Ability to analyze situations involving multiple variables and apply sound judgment
Capable of handling confidential information with discretion
Compensation: $27- $32 per hour
