    We are seeking a detail-oriented and observant Surveillance Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, identifying security concerns, documenting incidents, and supporting the safety and security of our facility, employees, and guests.

    Location:  The Nash Casino - 310 Daniel Webster Highway - Nashua, NH
    Hours:  Full-time:  Swing shift 3pm-11pm

    Job Responsibilities

    • Diligent in the consistent and strategic surveillance of the gaming floor and observation of operators throughout assigned shift. 
    • Ensure all equipment is operational and documents/reports any malfunctions immediately to the Surveillance Assistant Manager or above. 
    • Ensure surveillance activities are properly documented. 
    • Ensure all incident reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner. 
    • Properly secures all potential evidence from CCTV video recordings. 
    • Consistently adheres to strict confidentiality in all matters related to property Surveillance. 
    • Consistently utilizes proper radio etiquette. 
    • Cooperates with New Hampshire State Lottery Officials and the police as directed to support a positive working relationship in support of the Surveillance operation. 
    • Effectively records all gaming transactions in accordance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory guidance
    • Follows all policies and procedures as they relate to addressing barred patrons. 
    • In the absence of the Surveillance Assistant Manager, inform the Director of Surveillance of all significant incidents. This includes bomb threats, scams and cheating, mass disturbances, loss of coverage of either of the counts or collections, etc. 
          • Works safely, including clearly understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions. 
          • Maintains regular attendance at scheduled shift meetings. 
          • Assists with training/mentoring of new Team Members as requested. 
            • Inform the Assistant Surveillance Manager on duty of any irregularities and unusual situations when they occur. 
            • Keeps a friendly, calm, and helpful demeanor in high-stress situations and a continuously fast-paced environment. 
            • Is honest in all interactions and displays a high degree of integrity. 
            • Works independently with little to no supervision or as part of a team is required. 
            • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry. 
            Education and Minimum Requirements 
            • Must be 21 years of age or older with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
            • At least one year of related experience/training preferred. 
            • Knowledge of Table Games preferred. 
            • Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks. 
            • Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
            • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Hampshire gaming license  

            Physical/Mental Working Demands 

            • Must be able to move in and around the work area throughout the entire workday. 
            • Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time. 
            • Must be able to engage and interact with all guests appropriately and work well under the pressure of a fast-paced environment.
            • Must be able to successfully communicate on a regular basis with all co- workers, vendors, and guests both in person and over the telephone.  
            • Must be able to answer all inquiries and provide assistance and information in a professional and accurate manner
            • Must be able to access and interpret information on computer screens. 
            • Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted, and it can be loud with guest chatter, overhead music, and live entertainment.  
            • Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols and eye hand coordination.
