Guest Service Requirement

Position Summary

 

A candidate will need a strong CCTV background both with installation and troubleshooting of IP and analog cameras systems.

 

The position will report to Surveillance Manager, in his absence will report to Director of Surveillance.

Essential Functions

 

• Test, calibrate verify system and peripheral devices. Testing to be performed according to all applicable standards and codes (BICSI)
• Verify system functional performance to ensure proper operations according to contract requirements and shop drawings/sequence of operations, etc.
• Perform system backups, install appropriate updates and patches
• Complete documentation of all work done, including all Labeling
• Update drawings/documentation with any configuration or model changes
• Ensure all assigned Preventive Maintenance tasks are completed in the time allotted and the month scheduled
• Diagnose and perform repairs in a time effective manner
• Keep abreast of changes and new developments in product and preventive maintenance techniques
• Act as a mentor to technicians
• Availability for and performance of duties outside of normal working hours as required
• Understand and comply with all Company policies and procedures
• Other job-related duties as assigned

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

 

• Able to install Data cables, cameras, monitors, printers, video recorders and other related CCTV / IP Cameras equipment.(Axis, Samsung, Honeywell)
• Perform preventative maintenance and trouble shoots the CCTV system.
• Maintain accurate and complete equipment logs
• Services and maintains all types of communication and low voltage systems which are energy limited and do not exceed 91 volts; systems include, but are not limited to telephone systems, sound systems, cable television systems, closed-circuit video systems, satellite dish antennas, instrumentation
• Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

 

Education and Experience

 

High School Diploma

Two years CCTV installation and electronic equipment repair.

 

Required Certification/License  

None.
