Key Responsibilities Design and draft construction drawings using AutoCAD (or other required software), ensuring they meet the required standards for approval by federal, state, and local agencies.Work with a team of drafters and designers under the supervision of a project manager to support the practice.Review and interpret design manuals, technical documents, and local jurisdiction details.Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and sketches with some guidance.Review projects with customers and answer design questions.Size and specify design requirements accurately.Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring projects meet ISO compliance requirements.Strive to achieve or exceed the budgeted individual utilization target.Attend bi‑weekly or more frequent meetings with project teams to discuss progress and address any issues.Consult and coordinate with other practices and sub‑consultants as required.Demonstrate commitment to team performance and actively participate in meetings.Complete all assigned tasks on time, within budget, and in accordance with the project scope.Compare field data to base plans to ensure accuracy and consistency.Collect necessary data, including measurements, sketches, notes, and photographs, to support project needs.Perform other duties as required or assigned.Qualifications High School Diploma/GED.Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.Strong knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD.Experience with Microsoft Suite; Photoshop and Google Earth.Valid Driver's License.Additional Information Pre‑employment drug screening is a condition of employment.
