Job Description: Overview:This position provides experienced technical and office support for survey projects with complex deliverables while mentoring team members.
Responsibilities:- Lead technical survey tasks and mentor Survey Technician I and II team members.
- Prepare advanced-level drawings, calculations, and exhibits using AutoCAD Civil 3D with minimal oversight.
- Conduct thorough reviews of deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
- Perform complex deed research and prepare detailed legal descriptions and plats.
- Coordinate with field crews to ensure data alignment and project accuracy.
- Develop and maintain databases of survey data with minimal supervision.
- Process and refine field data into polished survey deliverables for client or internal use.
Qualifications:- Associate's degree, certificate, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 4+ years of experience in a survey technician or related role.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with MicroStation is a plus.
- Ability to mentor junior staff.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven ability to handle complex projects and adapt to changing priorities with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with overtime as needed.
