Job Description
CAD Surveyor
The CAD Surveyor will be responsible for:
- Producing and revising detailed engineering and utility drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Processing GPS and surveying field data to create accurate maps, plans, and project deliverables.
- Preparing and maintaining as-built documentation to reflect completed field work.
- Coordinating with survey crews, engineers, and project stakeholders to verify data accuracy.
- Organizing survey records, mapping files, and technical project documentation.
- Supporting utility, civil, and infrastructure projects through drafting and survey-related activities.
- Ensuring drawings comply with company standards, project requirements, and industry best practices.
- Assisting project teams in delivering accurate and timely design and construction documentation.

A successful CAD Surveyor should have:
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Experience processing GPS points, survey datasets, and as-built information.
- Background in surveying, utility mapping, civil engineering support, or a related discipline.
- Understanding of coordinate systems, drafting standards, and field-to-finish survey workflows.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a commitment to producing accurate technical work.
