We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Survey CAD Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and precise survey drawings and maps using CAD software. This role involves working closely with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure that all project requirements are met and that the final deliverables adhere to company standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed survey drawings, plats, and maps using AutoCAD or similar CAD software based on data collected from field surveys, GPS data, and existing maps
- Work closely with field survey teams to interpret and translate field data into clear, detailed CAD drawings
- Provide technical support to field survey teams, assisting with troubleshooting and problem-solving related to survey data and CAD software
- Review and check all drawings for accuracy and adherence to project specifications and company standards before submission
- Process and analyze survey data to create accurate representations of topographical features, boundaries, and other relevant information
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation processing survey computation required
- Experience with Land Title surveys, topographic surveys, utility route surveys and construction staking
