Job Description

This role coordinates and schedules construction staking, performs staking calculations, and prepares accurate information from plans, control data, and CAD files. It requires regular communication with field crews, engineers, and contractors to confirm scope and timelines, while ensuring proper documentation and QA/QC of deliverables. The position also tracks project progress, deadlines, materials, and crew workloads to support efficient project execution.

** RESPONSIBILITIES**

** Construction Survey Coordination**

• Coordinate and schedule construction staking services for active land development projects
• Communicate with field crews, engineers, and contractors to clarify scope, timing, and deliverables
• Review construction plans, control data, and CAD files to prepare for field staking
• Ensure proper documentation and QA/QC of staking deliverables
• Track project progress and proactively manage deadlines, materials, and crew workloads

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE

• 4+ years of land surveying experience, including 2+ years in construction staking coordination
• 2+ years of experience estimating survey or staking services
• Strong understanding of land development and construction documents
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Excel, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and project management tools
• Knowledge of local regulations, survey standards, and construction practices
