Survey Crew Lead
Job Description
This Survey Crew Lead role is a great fit for someone who enjoys being out in the field while leading a team and driving projects forward. You'll oversee daily survey operations, supporting a variety of work including boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction stakeout surveys.
The position is centered around accurate, high-quality data collection, hands-on use of modern survey technology, and strong collaboration with office teams to keep projects running smoothly from start to finish.

Work Environment
This role is primarily field-based, with regular interaction and coordination with the office team. You'll enjoy a hands-on work environment paired with a tight-knit, collaborative team where your input is valued and visible.
Projects span from early design through construction, giving you the chance to build well-rounded experience and see your work come to life in the community. The team operates in a region with a steady pipeline of land development and infrastructure projects, offering both stability and room to grow-without the red tape you might find at larger firms.
Expect to spend plenty of time outdoors, staying active and working with industry-leading tools like Trimble GPS units, robotic total stations, laser scanners, and TSC data collectors. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being in the field, leading a crew, and making a real impact on projects.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Annapolis, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
