Seeking a Survey Crew Chief in Baltimore, MD to lead field survey operations using robotic total stations, GNSS receivers, and terrestrial scanners for diverse projects including land development, transportation, and infrastructure.
- Operate survey equipment in various modes, perform data collection, stakeout, and maintain equipment.
- Conduct topographic, control, boundary, right of way, and terrestrial scans across multiple states.
- Maintain detailed notes, sketches, and inventory; perform periodic equipment maintenance.
- Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience, proficiency with survey tools, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Preferred qualifications include higher education, 5+ years of experience, certifications, and familiarity with transportation surveys. Must be physically capable of working on uneven terrain, lifting up to 50 lbs, and traveling overnight as needed.
