We are seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief for field operations primarily for ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys across the southern United States. This is a travel-intensive role ideal for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys working across diverse geographies, and takes pride in delivering high-quality, precise survey data. This role will include travel across Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.You will serve as the on-site expert ensuring projects are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.If you are seeking an opportunity with a company you can grow with and you possess leadership qualities and a solid work ethic, THD Design Group wants you!ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Lead and manage the ALTA/NSPS Land Title SurveysPlan, organize, and execute field survey operations across multiple statesOperate and maintain survey equipment (GPS, robotic total stations, data collectors, etc.)Interpret project requirements, plats, deeds, and legal descriptionsEnsure accuracy, completeness, and quality of field data collectionCommunicate effectively with project managers, office staff, and clients as neededMaintain daily field notes, reports, and documentationTravel extensively (multi-state travel required, often weekly)QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
