Perform necessary surveying duties such as creating or using field notes and calculations to obtain field survey data.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSets up and operates equipmentReads and surveys maps and construction plansLocates right of waysPerforms construction staking as requiredAssists in setting grades for drainage culverts and correcting drainage problemsAssists in taking field notes, performs calculations and documents work in field notes as neededPerforms Survey Party Chief duties as neededServices and maintains equipment and suppliesTrains and instructs subordinate survey personnelPerforms all other related duties as assignedMinimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or GEDTwo (2) or more years of surveying or construction experienceKnowledge of survey instruments and procedures or construction standardsBasic knowledge of trigonometry, geometry and mathPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to stoop, bend, climb, pull and push.#J-18808-Ljbffr
