WES embodies a team environment, where communication, knowledge, and initiative merge to produce quality services and products for our clientele.Position OverviewThe Field Crew Instrument Person will use a variety of Land Survey instruments to support a crew in their daily operations. They will assist in the completion of Field Surveys under the supervision of a Crew Chief and are responsible for the operation, checking, and basic field adjustments of Land Survey equipment (I.E. Tripods, Levels, Total Stations, GNSS Receivers, Data Radios/Modems & Other Necessary Field Equipment). They read and interpret various types of maps and plans associated with the project, complete neat and orderly field notes for Land Survey operations with supervision from the Crew Chief, keep the Crew Chief informed of obstacles and/or progress, load and unload trucks with Land Survey equipment and supplies, and clean and maintain the Land Survey equipment, tools, and vehicle.
