Job Description
This role offers an opportunity for a motivated Survey Field Technician II (Instrument Person) to support a field survey crew and grow their career with a highly respected engineering and surveying organization. You will work closely with a Crew Chief to perform a wide range of field surveying tasks, ensuring accurate data collection, safe operations, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Work Environment
This is an onsite role with a schedule structured as four nine-hour days and a half day on Fridays, providing a balanced workweek. You will spend a significant portion of your time outdoors on active project sites, working year-round in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold, and walking over uneven or challenging terrain. The position involves regular use of survey instruments and technologies such as GPS, total stations, Trimble equipment, and electronic field data collection tools, as well as interaction with engineering and land development teams. Some overnight travel may be required to support projects in different locations. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $33.00/hr.
