Careers | DRMPYour Primary Responsibilities will includeLoad truck with the necessary equipment and supplies that are needed throughout the day.Transport and set up the instruments/equipment and prepare the job site for the survey.Clear brush and trees away from the survey line.Hold the prism pole steady for the surveyor to help determine elevations of different points.Measure how far different points are from each other, using tape or electronic equipment; Help with the various pieces of survey equipment.Have familiarity/working knowledge of survey equipment.Operate the surveying equipment with the supervisor's oversight.What you'll needHigh School and/or specialized training from a vocational or technical school.Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history required.Ability to travelAbility to carry and lift equipment as needed on the project.Ability to cut and/or clear brush while establishing survey lines.
