Job Overview:
The Survey Plat Manager will be responsible for preparing and managing survey documents, including subdivision plats, boundary plats, record plats, and easement exhibits. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, a strong understanding of subdivision regulations, and the ability to collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with local, state, and recordation requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare subdivision plats, boundary plats, record plats, and easement exhibits.
• Draft survey documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Revise plats based on jurisdictional review comments, if required.
• Research deeds, title reports, and existing survey records.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field crews to confirm survey data.
• Ensure documents meet local, state, and recordation requirements.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.

• 4 to 5+ years of experience in survey drafting or plat preparation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Understanding of subdivision regulations and local review processes.
• Ability to read and interpret legal descriptions and title documents.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Pay Range: $70,000- $120,000

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
