What You'll Do

• Perform a variety of surveys, including topographic, boundary, utility, and construction layout
• Collect precise field data using modern surveying equipment and GPS technology
• Review plans, maps, and engineering drawings to understand project scope and execute survey work effectively
• Record detailed field measurements to support design, drafting, and modeling
• Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and timely delivery
• Assist with survey drafting and modeling using AutoCAD and Civil 3D when working in the office
• Apply mathematical calculations to determine distances, elevations, and angles
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and best practices while working on active job sites

What We're Looking For

Experience & Education

• 1-3 years of surveying experience (field experience preferred)

• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

• Experience with:

• Topographic surveys

• Boundary surveys

• Construction layout

• Utility surveys

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and working knowledge of Civil 3D
• Experience using surveying instruments and GPS equipment
• Strong math and measurement skills

Work Environment & Culture

• Typical schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, reporting directly to project sites
• Primarily outdoor work, with office-based CAD work during inclement weather

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Armonk, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
