In search of a Survey Technician to join our Yorkville, IL team! You will perform land survey work through the application of surveying principles and practices and use of modern survey equipment. You will operate instrumentation, clear brush, drive stakes, hold chains or rods, record data, prepare sketches and maintain equipment as needed. You will also have the opportunity to be responsible for utilizing surveying software applications to gather, retrieve and interpret important data, and performing basic survey computations. Ultimately, this position will provide a foundation for further professional development as a land surveyor.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years related survey experience.
- Associates or Bachelors in Survey Engineering, Geomatic Engineering, or other related field preferred; but not required.
- Ability to operate motorized equipment and possession of sufficient physical stamina to work outdoors under various field conditions.
- Valid Driver's License.
