Survey Technician

We are growing our Survey team in the Columbia, MO area and looking for a Survey Technician.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll play a key role in delivering survey work from field to finish, supporting crews, staying close to projects, and helping ensure things run smoothly across the board.

Along the way, you’ll:

• Stay close to project performance (scope, schedule, budget)

• Perform field calculations, establish and check horizontal and vertical control, and ensure proper reference to known benchmarks.

• Promote safe, efficient, and high-quality work practices

• Conduct field QC reviews to confirm completeness and accuracy of collected data.

• Document site conditions, photos, and any field changes or discrepancies that could impact project deliverables.

What We're Looking For

• Experience coordinating field work

• A few years of experience in land surveying

• Comfort working across field and office environments

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• A sense of ownership: you care about the work, your team, and doing things the right way
