A legible copy of transcripts must be submitted if a degree has not been conferred.Experience: Option 1: Three (3) years full‑time technical Land Surveying, GIS, Civil Engineering, or closely related experience performing tasks such as analyzing, creating, or reviewing survey related maps; utilizing GIS to map or index land records; applying land surveying formulas, theories, and practices to analyze the work products presented by professional Land Surveyors; or civil engineering formulas, theories, and practices to construction work. Option 2: Five (5) years experience equivalent to a Maintenance and Construction Supervisor I in San Bernardino County, supervising a crew in maintenance/repair of construction projects of roads, flood control, landfill, etc., with responsibility for safe work practices, inspection, purchasing parts/materials/equipment, and preparing project scope/cost estimates.Substitutions: Additional 15 semester units may substitute for one year of required experience. One year of additional qualifying experience may substitute for required education. Bachelor's degree may substitute 2 years of required experience.Qualifying degrees or coursework must be completed at accredited institutions.
