Survey Technician

C.T. Male Associates, a multi-discipline surveying, engineering, and architectural firm in the Northeast, is seeking a detail-oriented Survey Technician to join our Latham, NY office. In this role, you'll work on a wide variety of projects, using industry-leading technology and collaborating with experienced professionals on projects that help shape our communities.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare boundary, topographic, utility, and other survey-related maps and exhibits.

• Perform contour plotting and assist with data analysis.

• Assist with preliminary boundary determinations under the guidance of Project Managers.

• Prepare field crew worksheets and project support materials.

• Conduct deed research and obtain survey-related information from municipalities, government agencies, utility companies, and other survey professionals.

• Understand and protract deeds, maps, and easements with all proper notations.

• Support field survey operations as needed, including preparation for field assignments.

• Download and process GPS and field data collection information using Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Pay Range: $26.00 - $40.00 per hour, paid weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
