  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive to and between project sites.
  • Commitment to following safety procedures and site protocols at all times.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in land surveying, construction layout, or sitework is helpful but not required.
  • Exposure to topographic surveys and construction staking practices.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a field crew.
  • Ability to adapt to changing site conditions and project needs.
  • Motivation to take on new responsibilities and learn new technologies and methods.
  • Interest in long-term professional growth, supported by structured raises at 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year.

Work Environment

This is a office-based role working on active project sites, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional Saturday work as needed. You spend most of your time outdoors on construction and sitework projects, working closely with a survey crew. The role involves regular use of total stations, GPS equipment, and data collectors, as well as basic use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D to support survey tasks.
