Title: Survey Technician
Location: Williamsport, PA
Hire Type: Contract to direct Hire
Shift/Hours: 1st, 8am - 5pm (Mon-Fri)
Pay Rate- $30-40/hr

About the Opportunity:
Sterling Engineering's 20+ year client, a leading Civil Engineering Firm, is looking for a Survey Technician to join their organization. This is a stable company whom has been a leader in their market for over 50 years with a diverse book of business in all industries setting them up for stability and growth.
Job Duties:
- This position will support soil erosion construction inspections for natural gas main replacement projects.
- Utilize GPS Equipment to conduct topographical surveys.
- Utilize AutoCAD to render drafts with data collected from the field.
- Collaborate with project managers, Coordinators, etc. to manage expectations and deliver results according to client standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum – maximum years of experience:
- 2+ years of prior, relevant field or office work experience
- Must have topographic surveying experience
- Familiar with GPS Equipment
- Proven ability to work independently
- Understand Safety Concerns & Required PPE
- Valis State Driver’s license must have a safe driving record
- Drafting and Design experience preferred
- Desired Certifications/Education:
- Drafting certification or equivalent experience
- Certified or willingness to become a certified SESC Field Inspector
