The Ideal Candidate Will Have Knowledge Of Or Be Willing To Learn:
- Tasks in other practice areas within the company and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic surveying principles and practices
- Use of survey equipment such as total stations, GPS, and levels
- Basic math and geometry used in surveying calculations
- Reading and interpreting engineering plans, plats, and maps
- Construction layout and as-built surveys
- Topographic and boundary surveying
- Field note taking and data collection procedures
- Coordinate systems and basic surveying computations
- Use of AutoCAD or Civil 3D
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and grow within the company
This Opportunity Requires:
Education:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a survey related field or Computer Aided Design
License/Certification:
- Registered Professional Land Surveyor, and/or a desire to obtain PLS preferred
