Key Accountabilities- Adhere to all MSHA regulatory and company standards
- Must have a Safety-First mindset; leading the way to a safe work environment
- Promote and assist in maintaining a positive work culture
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities
- Monitor mine progress and establish mine survey control points as required.
- Month end tonnage reconciliation by survey.
- Maintain up to-date maps and as-builts.
- Mark up faces and long hole stopes as required using Total Station.
- Fly autonomous drone underground to pick up advance of bulk stope areas and to verify legacy areas.
- Ensure the surveying services are efficiently and effectively provided to Crucible ETN group standards
and statutory requirements, and in support of the mine’s strategic plan. - Ensure information is correct and safe for use.
- Support the Survey Team as required and to the wider MTS Department.
- Responsible for ensuring training requirements of this role are met.
Qualifications / Requirements- Completion of high school diploma or GED
- Drafting Experience
- Previous survey experience, preferably in underground mine
Preferred- Bachelor’s degree in surveying and mapping or mining engineering
- Part 107 FAA UAS License
