Sushi Chef - Solid Skills, Willing to Grow
Williamsburg, Brooklyn | $20-$30/hr
We are a 13-seat, small and growing open-kitchen Japanese restaurant in Williamsburg, offering hand rolls and a chef tasting menu with sushi and warm dishes. While we operate in an omakase-style format, we are not looking for an Omakase master - just a solid sushi chef who can confidently run a station and is open to learning.

Compensation & Schedule
$20-$30/hr, based on experience (to be discussed at interview)
Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.
Tuesday - Friday: 2PM - close
Saturday & Sunday: 12PM - close
(depending on reservations)
Role & Responsibilities
Confident in running the sushi station independently: prep, service, cleaning, and organization.
Handle fish prep, storage, and basic butchery with proper hygiene.
Assist with inventory and vendor ordering able to estimate usage.
Contribute ideas for seasonal menus and specials open to both traditional and modern styles.
Work closely with a small team reliable, clean, and team-oriented.
Communicate in basic English with team and guests.
