Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential FunctionsAssist the Manager in meeting sales and profit projections through making sushi and following company policies and procedures.Work various shifts or days as assigned based on company business needs.Ensure sushi is prepared, handled, stocked, rotated, and merchandised for best results.Operate department equipment safely, including knives, appliances, wrappers, and sushi equipment.Maintain a knife grip to cut fish or other seafood to specification.Work safely in a working environment of 40°F or more for long periods.Meet productivity standards set by the company.Use in-store computer system and scanning equipment.Weigh, price, label, organize, and rotate sushi products per company standards.Assist customers with special requests and questions regarding the sushi department.Support promotional activity within the store and department.Maintain good communication with store management, associates, and outside contacts.Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager.Other Duties / ResponsibilitiesPosition is non-exempt. Must work based on business needs.
