Job Summary

The Sustainability Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the Sustainability team and plays a key part in organizing department logistics, standardizing communication, and maintaining accurate information across projects. This individual helps plan and coordinate initiatives, ensuring efforts run smoothly and efficiently. The Coordinator also works closely with team members and business partners to support key sustainability priorities and contribute to strategy execution.

Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and support day-to-day operations for sustainability initiatives across environmental, social, and product focus areas.

  • Assist with documenting, improving, and maintaining operational processes to enhance efficiency.

  • Help standardize and maintain team procedures to support scalability and consistency.

  • Ensure internal communication tools and channels are organized and accessible.

  • Support stakeholder engagement by coordinating responses, tracking requests, and ensuring timely follow-up.

  • Plan and coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparing materials, and tracking key outcomes.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of sustainability events, including large-scale internal or external programs.

  • Maintain and organize team documents and resources to support collaboration and accurate recordkeeping.

  • Support supplier onboarding activities and assist with related tracking and reporting.

  • Help coordinate sustainability training or educational initiatives across the organization.

  • Enter, update, and manage data within sustainability systems and tools.

  • Provide system support by serving as a primary or backup administrator for key platforms.

  • Contribute to special projects and additional initiatives as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Certification / Licensure:

  • N/A

Work Experience:

  • 2+ years in operational coordination or administrative assistance.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Strong self-sufficiency and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to build professional rapport and trust among stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Attention to detail.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$23.25 - $33.75 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
