Description
As a Sustaining Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing construction projects within our manufacturing facility, ensuring the upkeep, expansion, and improvement of our factory infrastructure. The Sustaining Construction Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency, complying with process and safety standards, and executing improvements without impacting production.
Plan, coordinate, and execute multiple construction projects within the factory, ensuring timely completion and budget accuracy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
Plan and execute major repairs of existing factory structures, equipment, and infrastructure
Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
Develop and manage project budgets, providing accurate cost estimates and monitoring expenses throughout the project lifecycle
Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to source materials and services
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and sustainability
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
4 years of experience in construction project management within manufacturing, clean room, or industrial environments
Multi disciplined (CSA/MEP) knowledge with a strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Proficient in project management software and tools
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing priorities
