    Description

    The Sustaining Construction Superintendent will collaborate closely with Operations, project managers, & facilities personnel during the planning and execution phases of brownfield projects at Gigafactory Texas. You will oversee on-site activities, manage resources, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and resolve any issues that arise. The superintendent will also manage project schedules, document progress, and work to keep the project on track, delivering a successful outcome.

    • Develop detailed construction plans and schedules in collaboration with project managers and operations teams
    • Supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and resolving any on-site issues
    • Conduct regular inspections to maintain high-quality standards and compliance with building codes
    • Monitor and manage project schedule, adjusting for delays and ensuring timely completion
    • Oversee resource management, including labor, equipment, and materials to ensure cost-effective operations
    • Communicate with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure smooth project coordination
    • Maintain documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders, to track project status
    • 6+ years' experience as a Superintendent in managing capital projects or large-scale maintenance tasks
    • Discipline knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) scopes
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify solutions and make informed decisions under pressure
    • In-depth knowledge of construction safety protocols and ability to enforce OSHA and state regulations on-site
    • Expertise in managing project schedules, resource allocation, and cost control
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
    • Familiarity with construction quality standards, codes, and local regulations
