Job Summary: Plans, organizes, directs and evaluates the overall operations and strategic direction of automated information collection , storage and processing for the hospital district; develops policies and procedures to provide timely and accurate patient care and business operations information that is secured and meets or exceeds all applicable internal and external privacy protection mandates; promote employee, patient and physician satisfaction, budgetary compliance and identification of departmental direction. Promotes collaborative relationships between Health Technology Services and hospital department heads to ensure the provision of automated services that support each respective department's patient care and/or support activities. Operates independently/autonomously in areas such as program development, conflict resolution, patient satisfaction and employee team facilitation.
