ABOUT THE ROLEA leading financial services organization is seeking a senior FP&A executive to lead financial planning, forecasting, strategic decision support, and enterprise performance management. Reporting directly to the CFO, this leader will oversee a high-performing FP&A organization and partner closely with the C-suite and Board on strategic planning, profitability, capital efficiency, investment evaluation, M&A, and enterprise performance.
This leader will help build and evolve FP&A into a technology-enabled, highly analytical decision-support function. The role will drive dynamic forecasting, scenario planning, predictive analytics, automation, management reporting, and the integration of financial and operational data to generate actionable insights for senior leadership.
The ideal candidate brings
10+ years of progressive FP&A or finance experience, significant team leadership, and a demonstrated track record supporting executive decision-making. Experience with
capital planning and M&A is required, along with strong financial modeling, strategic planning, process improvement, and advanced analytics capabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead long-range financial planning, annual budgeting, forecasting, and integrated planning processes.
- Partner with the CFO, C-suite, and Board on strategic planning and enterprise financial performance.
- Provide financial analysis and decision support for capital planning, M&A, investments, profitability, and cash flow improvement.
- Build and maintain dynamic forecasting models incorporating scenario planning and predictive analytics.
- Develop management reporting, KPI frameworks, and performance-monitoring capabilities.
- Identify emerging business risks and opportunities and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Drive automation, process improvement, and digital transformation across FP&A.
- Leverage AI/ML and advanced analytics to enhance forecasting, profitability analysis, and decision support.
- Lead the FP&A technology roadmap, including planning platforms, BI tools, dashboards, and decision-support applications.
- Manage relationships with technology providers, including contracts, implementation, and procurement requirements.
- Partner with enterprise Data & Analytics teams to improve data quality, standardization, and analytical capabilities.
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing FP&A and finance business partnering teams.
