SVP DecisioningAs the SVP of Decisioning you will support the EVP of Decisioning, shaping how current and prospective clients perceive dentsu's Marketing Effectiveness practice—simplifying complexity, instilling confidence in our capabilities, and championing innovative approaches to modern measurement. In this role, you will represent dentsu across three core areas: driving external growth, advancing internal partnerships, and collaborating with key vendors to shape industry‑leading measurement solutions. You'll also be responsible for setting the tone of the wider Marketing Effectiveness teams' learning agenda and trainings.ResponsibilitiesOversee tools, technology and platforms utilized for the client working with internal and external partnersLead agency development efforts for analytics, including new and organic business pitchesDrive process and procedures to support efficiency and consistencyDrive strategic thinking and leadership for data analytics, insights and innovationDevelop close working relationships with Agency leadershipHelp to set the vision for audience, competitive, measurement, reporting, and analytics across all lines of businessSupport and drive the client's strategic philosophy for data and a particular strength in “test‑and‑learn” measurement and optimizationQualifications12+ years relevant Media Analytics experienceCommunication & Relationship building: Client‑facing experience within media agencies, manage the analytics business for a portfolio of clientsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to convey and package technical findings in simple termsVery strong interpersonal skills, can collaborate across many functions and build bridges of trust and mutual respectManagement & Leadership: Agency departmental leadership abilityExecutive stakeholder management & vision settingDemonstrated thought leadership within the digital marketing or analytics industriesAct as the senior‑most point‑of‑contact for analytics, adapting to business challenges with agility and directionMentor and develop skill‑set of teamGlobal business management exposureMedia Expert: Possesses understanding of media planning and buying, with a focus on media metricsAnalytics & Data Storytelling: Analytics experience within integrated or digital communications or media agency preferredExperience with Data Visualization & StorytellingDrive the efforts to improve our measurement capabilities, such as enhancing methodology and establishing process on in-channel and cross‑channel incrementality, effectiveness and efficiencyTidy Data & Databases: Understanding of relational databases and programming languages (e.g., SQL, R, or Python)Experience with data sourcing, evaluation, onboarding and integrationBe mindful of privacy and security: ensure that data handling meets legal and ethical standards to protect the agency and customers and their dataQuantitative: Working knowledge of machine learning, statistical testing, & regression modelingQualitative: Familiarity with attitudinal survey methodsAd/MarTech Knowledge: Demonstrates understanding of Ad/MarTech landscape across digital, mobile, etc. and their advantages/limitationsExperience with Ad Tech platforms including, DoubleClick (DBM, DCM) Adobe (Analytics, AMO, AAM) Marin and PrismaUnderstanding of media and digital reporting tools, familiarity with data sets, tools and vendors including but not limited to IAS, DMPs, Nielsen DAR and other media performance, viewability/valid/on‑target and audience reporting platforms and toolsProject Management: Proficiency in a Project/Product ManagementThe Basics: Proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel is requiredThe CandidateA leaderA highly curious person with strong problem‑solving, quantitative, and analytical abilitiesA driven and ambitious leader with the natural ability to get the best out of othersA strategic client partner who is focused on leading the client to the futureA proven collaborator who can navigate and influence across complex teams and different culturesSomeone who is willing to travel, for new business and internal alignment across the global teamsA flexible work attitude, willing to work outside of regular office hours to accommodate all time zonesAn excellent and compelling presenter and communicatorCompensationThe annual base salary range for this position is $217,500–$263,062. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
