Seeking a full-time senior software engineer for on-site work in Fairfax, VA, with a premier client. Candidates need at least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing software for signals or data processing systems, including code development, testing, analysis, and debugging. Expertise in client-server architectures, networking protocols, C, C++, Python, and Linux is required. Object-Oriented Design skills are a plus. The role involves designing, testing, deploying data processing software, developing control and monitoring interfaces, and managing system configurations.
Required qualifications include a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with experience in Linux and C/C++. Experience with DO-278A standards is highly desired.
Preferred qualifications include an MS degree, MATLAB, GNSS, database development, communication systems, signal processing, safety-critical software techniques, and familiarity with tools like Eclipse, Intel C++ Compiler, Vectorcast, and Synopsys Coverity.
The position will transition into a role requiring a security clearance, which the client will sponsor.
