ANNOUNCEMENT
Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for student workers in a variety of student employment positions.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, student work provides part-time limited employment for students, providing real life learning and work experience. Positions are available throughout the academic year in a variety of office, lab, classroom or activity settings. Duties will vary by department. Hours are determined around the student's class schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be an enrolled SWIC student in at least 6 Financial Aid eligible credit hours during fall and spring semesters and 1 Financial Aid eligible credit hour during the summer.
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 and 67% or higher completion rate.
- Must have a 25-26 FAFSA on file.
STARTING PAY AND HOURS
$15.00/hr., up to 20 hours/week
WORK LOCATION
Positions available district-wide.
APPLICATION DEADLINE
Positions will be filled on an on-going, as need basis. Applications will be kept for review for the 2025-2026 academic year.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Students will submit the online application (please attached a resume/cover letter if you have one) and complete a 2025-2026 FAFSA on the Federal Student Aid website. Pell Grant eligibility does not determine eligibility for student employment.
