About the Role
The Druid Hills Golf Club is seeking a Swim Graduate Assistant to assist in managing all aspects of our swim program. This position provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or graduate students to gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment while helping to cultivate a love for swimming among young members.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting in the planning and implementation of swim lessons for various age groups and skill levels.
Helping to coordinate swim team practices and events.
Providing supervision and safety for all swim activities.
Assisting with the maintenance of the pool and swim areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met.
Communicating with parents and guardians regarding swim programs and participation.
Participating in staff meetings and contributing ideas to improve the swim program.
Providing support to the head coach and other swim staff as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field or currently enrolled in a graduate program.
Strong swimming skills and familiarity with swim instruction.
Experience working with children in a coaching or educational capacity.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
