    At British Swim School of Bay Area Houston, we're more than a swim school. We teach life-saving water survival skills that help children, adults and families become safer and more confident around water.

    We're looking for positive, dependable team members who enjoy working with children, connecting with people, and making a meaningful impact in their community.     The Position
    As a Swim Instructor, you'll teach safe, fun, and engaging swim lessons using British Swim School's proven curriculum. You'll help swimmers of all ages develop water safety skills, build confidence, and achieve important milestones while creating a positive experience for families.

    No swim teaching experience is required. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support for the right candidates.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver safe, engaging swim lessons following British Swim School curriculum and safety standards
    • Create a positive, encouraging learning environment for swimmers and families
    • Provide exceptional customer service and professional communication
    • Participate in training and follow all operational and safety procedures
    Qualifications
    • High school diploma (or currently working toward completion)
    • Comfortable in and around the water; strong swimming skills are helpful but can be developed through training
    • Strong communication and customer service skills
    • Dependable, professional, and willing to learn
    • Ability to complete required training, certifications, and testing
    Preferred Experience
    • Experience working with children, coaching, teaching, childcare, hospitality, customer service, or related fields
    • Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and/or AED certifications are a plus
