Do you love working with kids? Want to make a real difference in the water? We’re looking for friendly, supportive, and high-energy Swim Instructors to help children (ages 4–12) build confidence, safety, and skill in the pool.
Whether you're experienced or just starting out, if you bring a positive attitude and care about kids, we’ll train you on our proven curriculum and support your growth every step of the way.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead fun, structured swim lessons for children ages 6 months to 12 years (focus on ages 4–12).
- Follow our progressive, skill-based curriculum tailored to each student’s comfort and confidence.
- Keep classes safe, focused, and full of small victories—no matter the student’s starting point.
- Communicate clearly and kindly with parents and caregivers after class.
- Create a warm, welcoming pool environment that helps even nervous swimmers feel at home.
What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine love for kids and teaching
- Strong communication and patience—especially with first-timers or nervous swimmers.
- Comfort in the water and basic swimming ability (we’ll teach you how to teach).
- Previous coaching or swim instruction experience is a plus, but not required.
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to get certified with our help).

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 – $19.50/hour
Expected Hours: 4–30 per week

Who We Are
Bulldog Swim Academy is a warm, welcoming, and high-energy swim school focused on teaching water safety, confidence, and movement literacy to children and adults. We believe learning to swim should be joyful—not stressful—and that great instruction starts with great people.
We don’t train competitive swimmers. We develop safe, confident, happy humans in the water.

Our Programs
- Water Babies (6 months–3 years): Parent-child classes focused on acclimation and joyful connection
- Youth (4–12 years): Independent, skill-based instruction with safety, stamina, and technique progression
- Discover Swimming (13+): Adult lessons designed for nervous beginners or those new to the water
