Essential Functions:
- Responsible for organizing and writing lesson plans in accordance with the American Red Cross
- Responsible for teaching swimming lessons in accordance with the American Red Cross guidelines
- Responsible for completing necessary course record sheets for the American Red Cross
- Responsible for evaluating and placing students in proper swim level
- Responsible for end of class report card evaluation
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to demonstrate all required swimming skills that meet the American Red Cross guidelines
- Skilled in planning and conduction swimming classes
- Ability to maintain timely and accurate reports
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work and communicate with co-workers, parents and students
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
