Swimming Instructor
Salary Range $16.50-$17.30 hourly, based on relevant experience to the role. In addition to an hourly rate of pay Swim Instructors will earn a $5.00 bonus for each private, semi-private and select group swim lesson serviced. 401K with dollar for dollar match up to 4%. The purpose of this position is to effectively conduct group swim lessons and individual swim lessons in a safe and responsible manner. Motivate members and guests to increase swim technique, comfort in the water are self-confidence. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Familiarity with aquatics industry
- Swimming proficiency
- Minimum of 1year instructing swim lessons preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Minimum 16 years of age and American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (includes CPR/First AID/AED for the Professional Rescuer); or
- Minimum 18 years of age and American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
- High School diploma preferred
