OPEN POSITIONS - SWIM INSTRUCTORS
As a staff member at the Neptune Aquatic Center (NAC), the Swim Instructor is responsible for
providing students with a safe, enjoyable and educational water program while continuing to relate
to the needs of the aquatic patrons as a whole. He or she will also be responsible for monitoring
activities within the swim class to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum age of 18
Current certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certificate and a current WSI certificate through the American Red Cross.
Ability to lead a safe, educational and enjoyable swim class for people of all ages, fitness levels, and capabilities.
Ability to save lives and respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations in and around the pool.
The physical, visual and auditory abilities to perform the essential functions of the job; that being to prevent accidents and provide assistance should an emergency situation arise.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage difficult or emotional situations by providing prompt and effective service when needed.
Rate subject to experience, certification and qualification will be $19.00-$23.50 per hour.
