JOB SUMMARY-
The Night Janitoris responsible formaintainingthe cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of ski area facilities during swing shift hours. Working after operational hours, this role ensures that lodges, restrooms, dining areas, rental shops, and other public spaces are thoroughly cleaned and ready for the next day’s guests. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, restroom sanitation, and occasional snow/ice management at building entrances.
This position requires the ability to work independently, attention to detail, and physical stamina to perform tasks in a cold-weather environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in creating a clean and welcoming atmosphere for all resort visitors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES-
Night Janitorsare responsible forthe overall cleanliness of ourfacility.This positionworksa swingshift totake advantage of the time that buildings are least occupied.
Engage and welcome all Crystal Mountain guests
Vacuum, sweep and mop all lodge floorsand restrooms
Deep cleanand stock restrooms
Transport trash and recycling toappropriate containers
Report any restroom or lodge maintenance to Facilities Manager
Shampoo carpets
Straighten tables and chairs

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLAND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS-
Must beat least18 yearsold
High School Diploma or GEDpreferred
Must be able to work in a team environment
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS-
This positionisto worknights,weekdays,weekendsand holidayswhile in operation.
Ability to work “swing shift” hours from 2:30pm to 11pm
Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position aminimum of40pounds on anoccasional basis.
Manual dexterity tooperateamop, vacuum,and broom on a constant basis.
Ability to work for extended periods oftime bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling,pushingand pulling on an occasional basis.
Talking and hearing occur continuouslyin the process of communicatingwith guests,supervisorsand other employees.
