Swiss CNC Setup / Operator
Job Description
Are you an experienced machinist looking for a unique position that is challenging, contains a TON of variety, allows you to do setups and also operate various Swiss-style CNC machines, and want to work with a company that values individuals who are motivated and in turn treats you with respect? Then you may be the person we are looking for!
Using Citizen CNC lathes (L12, L20, and L32 models) to perform most of the component manufacturing.
We would like to find a candidate that has the following experience:
• At least 2 years working with Swiss-style CNC (setup experience preferred, programming experience not required).
• A desire to perform setups, but also a willingness to operate the machines once they are set up to ensure they are running good parts. It is not unusual for an individual to complete 3, 4, or more setups in a day. We group similar parts together to minimize tool, collet, guide bushing, etc. changeovers when possible.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and measure part dimensions using calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, pin gauges, indicators, and optical comparators.
We provide all necessary tools and inspection equipment but are open to having individuals who want to have their own toolbox on-site as well.
We are considering various schedule options based on individual experience and availability, we have the flexibility to create work schedules that work for both you and the company!
