Own the performance of a Swiss turning cell at Lusk Quality. If you excel at building capable teams, dialing in tight-tolerance setups, and keeping production on beat, this role is for you.
Your impact
Coach, mentor, and coordinate a group of Swiss operators to consistently achieve cycle times, quality targets, and customer deadlines.
Set up and operate Swiss machines to produce precision parts in a high-volume environment.
Translate blueprints, engineering drawings, and specs into efficient machining plans.
Choose and install the right tools, attachments, and accessories for the job.
Continuously monitor machining, make on-the-fly adjustments, and hold specs.
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision metrology.
Troubleshoot issues rapidly and implement cost- and time-effective solutions.
Conduct routine machine maintenance to sustain uptime and accuracy.
Model a safe, policy-compliant, and collaborative work environment.
What you’ll need to succeed
Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Hands-on Swiss machine operating experience.
Proficiency with hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
Ability to read/interpret blueprints; solid grasp of GD&T.
Knowledge of CAD tools such as SolidWorks for programming-related work.
Competence in materials handling for efficient loading/unloading.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
Background in aerospace manufacturing preferred; proficiency in Aerospace Manufacturing is valued.
