Position Overview Assembling andor modifying electromechanical equipment e.g. Switchboards Lighting Panels etc. with use of mechanical tools and blueprints. Processes work orders with the use of computers scanning devices etc. in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders. Scans in and out of work orders with the use of computers scanning devices etc. in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders. Reads and interprets documents associated with the completion of mechanical assembly assignments e.g. blue prints bill of materials one line diagrams etc.. Fastens component parts on cubicles or frames subassemblies or unit assemblies. Cleans and maintains equipment and work area to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.
Youll win us over by having the following qualifications Basic Qualifications Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical measuring tools Ability to speak read write and understand English Ability to stand to perform job duties Ability to reach grasp and lift up to 50lbs pushpull and slide heavy material Ability to stoop bend squat crawl and climb Must be at least 18 years of age Must be thorough and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must be willing to learn all equipment operated in the facility and follow established processes Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
