    Description

    We are seeking an experienced Critical Systems Technician IV – Switchgear to support the startup, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mission-critical electrical infrastructure supporting data centers, government facilities, and other high-availability environments.This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level electrical field service professional who enjoys hands‑on technical work, commissioning complex power systems, leading field activities, and working directly with customers on critical electrical projects.What You'll Be DoingPerform startup, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mission‑critical electrical systemsSupport installation and turnover of switchgear and critical power equipmentLead and coordinate field testing activities, including third‑party testing vendorsConduct preventive maintenance on contracted electrical equipmentReview project specifications, submittals, and technical documentationSupport Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and witness testing activitiesResolve technical issues in coordination with engineering, factory personnel, contractors, and customersServe as a technical lead and site point of contact during project executionDevelop project schedules and coordinate manpower requirementsGenerate technical reports, commissioning documentation, MOPs, JHAs, and closeout packagesProvide customer training and system familiarization upon project completionRespond to service and emergency support calls as requiredWhat We're Looking For – Required Experience7+ years of electrical field service, commissioning, testing, or maintenance experienceStrong experience with mission‑critical electrical infrastructureHands‑on experience with Switchgears, UPS systems, Generators, Battery Systems, PLC controlled equipment, Power Monitoring systems, Electrical Distribution systemsProven electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsAbility to read and interpret One‑line diagrams, Electrical schematics, Blueprints, and Construction drawings.Experience interacting directly with customers and project stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Technology, or related disciplineMilitary electrical or power generation experience considered equivalentNETA Level II or III CertificationNICET Level II or III CertificationExperience performing acceptance testing and commissioning activities in mission‑critical facilities#J-18808-Ljbffr
