We have an exciting opportunity for a SWME Project Manager to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. If selected you will: Perform project management for a spacesuit water membrane evaporator development projectManage the overall efforts related to systems engineering, project engineering, test engineering and logistics engineeringManage the project team and their activitiesProvide budgeting, forecasting and cost estimating supportMonitor cost performance for the project against the established planDevelop and maintain financial reportsDevelop and manage project scheduleOversee the development of procedures, work instructions and process flowsManage project risks and opportunities and ensure that a structured risk and opportunity process is followedAssess how program level changes impact project requirements and executionInterface frequently with inter-organizational disciplines, NASA personnel, and vendorsWork with the lead systems engineer to meet technical and performance goalsPerform other duties as requiredQualifications: This position has been posted at multiple levels.
