The successful candidate will have excellent people skills, be self-motivated, have demonstrated ability to deliver lessons to support the curriculum goals in Music and Band. The teacher will develop in each student an appreciation of the art of music, as part of general culture. He/she will teach techniques of vocal and instrumental music expression, including small group lessons for strings and band. The teacher will discover and develop students' talents in the field of music. The successful candidate will also discover and develop students' talents in the field of instruments. In addition, the teacher will develop students' knowledge and skills in listening to and reading music.
